Rooms4Growth: Microgreens Room
Could a small studio space help a household grow useful fresh greens through winter without becoming complicated to maintain?
Rooms4Growth is the future project space for testing how a small studio or garden-room build can support healthier eating after the construction work is complete.
The microgreens room concept keeps the food story connected to the built-space story: a compact, clean, controllable growing area inside or attached to a new studio space where trays of greens can be grown through winter.
What this project is testing
- Can a small studio space include a practical microgreens zone without taking over the room?
- How much fresh green food can be produced with simple shelving, lighting and trays?
- Can the same space still work as a guest, hobby or light work area?
- What setup would be easy enough for clients to maintain after the build?
This is seeded as a project placeholder so the final site installation has a realistic future-project example without distracting from the meal-first launch.
