A fast single-serving breakfast test meal with obvious ingredients, simple prep and rough macro tracking.

250 cal14g protein15g carbs15g fat$1.75 / serving0d keeps0/10 reserve score

Contains: Dairy, Gluten, Eggs

Storage / reheat notes: Best eaten immediately. Toast softens quickly, so this is not a storage or reheat meal.

Tips / practical notes:

Use a toaster oven or large-slot toaster if making multiple pieces of toast at once.
Pre-cook bacon on a tray in the oven or air fryer for easier cleanup and faster assembly.

Macro source: Approximate calculated test values; confirm with actual bread, bacon and cream cheese labels.

Ingredients

  • 1 slice whole-grain toast
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 1 cooked bacon strip

Method

  1. Toast the bread.
  2. Cook or warm the egg to preference.
  3. Spread cream cheese on the toast.
  4. Add the egg and bacon strip.
  5. Serve immediately.

Why this is in the test run

This is intentionally simple: known ingredients, obvious prep, fast timing and easy macro estimation. It also shows where LKBI should mark a meal as fresh-only rather than pretending every recipe stores or reheats well.
